Massachusetts Foreign Language Association - The Massachusetts Foreign Language Association is a non-profit service organization committed to the professional growth of its members and to the promotion of quality teaching and learning of languages and cultures from kindergarten through the college level and beyond .

American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages - What's going on nationally with the teaching and learning of Foreign Languages
FL Teaching Forum
FL Teaching Forum is an integrated service for Foreign Language teachers with numerous resources. Overall topic is foreign language teaching methods for all levels and languages.
Language Resource CenterNational Resource Centers
The common goal of the Language Resource Centers (LRCs) is to promote the learning and teaching of foreign languages in the United States. This site lists all of the Centers and includes a search function which will allow you to look for specific materials related to the teaching of foreign languages.
AATF
American Association of Teachers of French - promoting the study of languages in general and French in particular;facilitating the implementation of national and state standards in the classroom; improving the training of French teachers by encouraging minimum levels of language and cultural proficiency, and exposure to the French-speaking world through study abroad opportunities; creating opportunities and finding resources for practicing teachers to update their skills and improve their teaching;encouraging the use of new technologies in the teaching of French and actively developing materials to support this use.
AATI
American Association of Teachers of Italian - The American Association of Teachers of Italian was founded in 1924 to promote the study of Italian language, literature, and culture in schools, colleges and universities in North America. It has approximately 1500 members worldwide. The Association publishes the quarterly journal, Italica, and a twice-yearly Newsletter. It sponsors seminars and workshops in the broad area of Italian studies and holds annual meetings, usually in conjunction with ACTFL but also in Italy. AATI is dedicated to excellence in teaching and research in all areas of Italian studies
AATSP
American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese -
The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) promotes the study and teaching of the Spanish and Portuguese languages and their corresponding Hispanic, Luso-Brazilian and other related literatures and cultures at all levels of education. The AATSP encourages, supports and directs programs and research projects involving the exchange of pedagogical and scholarly information. Through extensive collaboration with educators, professionals, and institutions in other countries, the AATSP contributes to a better and deeper understanding between the United States and the Spanish-and Portuguese-speaking nations of the world.

American Classical League -
The American Classical League was founded in 1919 for the purpose of fostering the study of classical languages in the United States and Canada. Membership is open to any person who is committed to the preservation and advancement of our classical inheritance from Greece and Rome.
CANE
Classical Association of New England - Founded in 1905, the Classical Association of New England is the professional organization for classicists in the six New England states. CANE’s mission is to foster the study of the classical world through the association’s many activities and resources, including the annual meeting in March, scholarships, discretionary grants, CANE’s own press, and New England Classical Journal (NECJ).
